Pasqualino's Ristorante Italiano: A Taste of Italy

Pasqualino's Ristorante Italiano is an Italian restaurant situated atop a hill at Santa Rita, Samar facing the San Juanico straight over viewing the longest bridge in the Philippines, the San Juanico Bridge. The relaxing view and the perfect ambiance is ideal to escape from the loud and crowded urban life. The place offers a variety of tasteful Italian dishes which will surely give you a taste of Italy.

Rich and delicious, I find that there is nothing as enticing than a slice of pizza, but if you force me to choose one type of pizza as my all time favorite, then it would have to be this pizza. Not too cheesy yet flavorful with a perfectly cooked crust and a sweet and tangy sauce that will definitely make your taste buds go insane. The price is quite expensive but it will be worth it.
This Italian restaurant will certainly relax all your senses with the great view that it can offer. The sunset is one of the perfect scenery that can give you a calm and peaceful mood while having a slice of pizza and a burger or just a conversation with a friend.

This would be a perfect place for people who likes a peaceful and good quality Italian food. A place that would absolutely keep you coming back for more.

The K Patisserie: Cupcakes and Burgers

The locally called "merienda",  a light meat which is usually taken in the afternoon, is one of my favorite meals of the day.

A patisserie in the heart of city of Tacloban offers delicious and sumptuous merienda treats for the gastronomically adventurous people. The place was quite small but comfortable and they even have an artistic and creative ambiance to set the mood for a wonderful treat that lies ahead.

Mango Graham
One of their best-sellers in the cupcake department are the mango graham and cheesy ube. The cupcakes were moist, very flavorful and a bit sweet - essentially perfect for an afternoon treat. The Mango Graham cupcake definitely took my breath away. The vanilla cupcake was delicate and topped with an even more exquisite cream frosting with perfectly sliced mangoes and crushed grahams adorning it. All of the components came together excellently and it was my favorite out of the entire batch of cupcakes that they have.

Chili Burger
The burgers were just heavenly. They have several varieties of burgers on hand and my personal favorite was the chili burger.  The burger was served with fries at no extra charge and absolutely completed the meal. The buns of the burger were fresh and not dry at all. The burger itself was cooked medium or well and was juicy without being greasy with a nice beefy taste. The chili sauce did not overpower the cheese and was absolutely added a tasty texture dimension. The first bite was very enjoyable, in fact each bite until the last was just as good.
